Founded by the world-renowned expert in plastic surgery, Dr. Baek Se Min, and currently led by Dr. Hong Jong Uk, who is a student of Dr. Baek, we take pride in being a hospital that has not had a single case of anesthesia-related accidents or deaths since its establishment. This is a testament to our continuous investment in patient safety, even as we perform complex surgeries.

We take pride in the fact that we have a high level of completion and reliability in all plastic surgeries, thanks to the pride of being a student of Dr. Baek. Our low turnover rate among staff members also ensures that we prevent accidents caused by inexperienced personnel. Furthermore, we have renovated our facilities to provide a unique and safe environment for our patients, and we have acquired surgical equipment that has been proven to be effective and safe for plastic surgery.

1995: Establishment of Se Min Plastic Surgery by Dr. Baek Se Min. After serving as the department head of the plastic surgery department at Mt. Sinai Hospital in the United States, Dr. Baek returned to Korea in 1982 and served as the department head of plastic surgery at Kyung Hee University, Korea University, and Inje University. Dr. Baek then established Se Min Plastic Surgery in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, near the office of Dr. Lee Jong Goo, a cardiologist.

1996: Dr. Hong Jong Uk took office as the director of Se Min Plastic Surgery. As a student of Dr. Baek, Dr. Hong became the foundation of Se Min Plastic Surgery and played a crucial role in its development.

1997: Under the leadership of Dr. Hong, Se Min Plastic Surgery focused on becoming a specialized hospital for facial contouring, rhinoplasty, and double eyelid surgery.

2002: Se Min Plastic Surgery established a comprehensive plastic surgery hospital in a standalone building at 84-2, Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu.

2005: To mark its 10th anniversary, Se Min Plastic Surgery introduced a specialized team-based surgical system to further enhance its services.

2009: The hospital relocated to a new location at 84-7, Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, and Dr. Hong continued to lead the hospital as a single-handed operation.

2015: Se Min Plastic Surgery relocated to a new location at 234-25, KJ Tower, 5th floor, Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu.
