Clinic Introduction
Haneum is the first Oriental Medicine clinic in Korea to be established with a license. Although it took six years of university education and an additional four years of training to obtain a license as a specialist in Oriental Neuro-Psychiatry, Haneum could not put up a sign until 2010 due to legal restrictions. Prior to that, neuro-psychiatry treatments using Oriental Medicine were provided by non-specialist doctors. In 2011, Haneum became the first clinic to offer neuro-psychiatry treatments by specialists, and thanks to the support of many people, many patients from all over the country have received treatment and become happy. Since then, clinics offering neuro-psychiatry treatments using Oriental Medicine have opened and closed, but there were many requests from the local community for Haneum to open. However, since only less than 10 specialists in Oriental Neuro-Psychiatry graduate each year, it took time to meet the demand. Of course, non-specialist doctors are also excellent, but Haneum wanted to create a network of specialists who were previously non-existent. Even now, that is what Haneum considers its identity. Haneum can be found in various locations across the country. From the youngest to the most senior, from doctors with a Ph.D. to authors of SCI papers, there are various specialists. The goal is to provide the safest and most effective neuro-psychiatry treatments in the world. We are proud of this and are working hard to achieve it through various papers and research. However, our ultimate goal is to find happiness in everyday life. We understand how hard it is. When the body is sick, we realize the importance of everyday life, but when the mind is sick, we do not have the luxury to realize it. We will strive to find happiness in everyday life for those who are struggling. For us, happiness in everyday life means helping those who are struggling to get better.
