Clinic Introduction
Welcome to 'BGN Bright Eye Clinic, Lotte World Tower' led by Representative Director Park Se-gwang. My goal is not just to run a good hospital for today, but to create an ophthalmology clinic that will be trusted for 10 years, 50 years, and 150 years to come. With a sincere heart that will not change even as generations pass, I come to the hospital every day. Located on the 11th floor of Lotte World Tower, with the view of Seokchon Lake outside the window, this place is not just a simple surgical space, but a place where we look at 'a person's life' together. [What's more important than surgery is whether 'it's okay to see' with your eyes.] Not every eye needs surgery. For some people, waiting may be the cure, and for others, adjusting their lifestyle may be the recovery. So, every time I look at the examination results, I ask myself, 'Is surgery really what this person needs right now?' I believe that conscience should come before technology. I decided to create a safe ophthalmology clinic that only does the surgeries that are necessary, rather than a clinic that does good surgery. [Machines over people, technology over sincerity] At BGN Bright Eye Clinic, Lotte World Tower, we have advanced equipment such as the VISUMAX 800 and SmilePro system from Carl Zeiss, but what we value is not the equipment itself. Even with the best technology, if the sincerity of the hands that handle it is lacking, it's not true medicine. 'Each surgery should be done with the same carefulness as the first time,' that's our philosophy. [For one person's eyes today] I always think that surgery is not the end, but the beginning. I believe that true treatment is not just the surgery itself, but also the post-operative care and management, as well as the changes in vision that follow. That's why we always prepare with the same mindset, never missing even the smallest change in the eyes. Every time a patient who had surgery 20 years ago comes back with their child's hand in theirs, I feel that our hospital is not just a simple medical space, but a place of trust that connects generations. Today, I stand on the same path, silently and sincerely. May your eyes see the world again.
