We have also achieved a milestone of 10,000 ICL lens implantations (as of March 2024) and have been recognized as a reference doctor for ICL myopia correction. Our clinic is a member of the LASIK/LASEK Committee of the Korean Ophthalmological Society, a designated medical tourism institution by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, and a medical tourism cooperation institution by the Gangnam-gu government.

Irium Eye Clinic has been selected as a medical institution for foreign dignitaries to receive medical check-ups at the 2023 Korea-Pacific Islands Leaders' Meeting. Our medical team consists of experienced doctors from renowned hospitals such as Severance Hospital and Asan Medical Center, with Dr. Kang Sung Yong serving as an external professor at Asan Medical Center and Dr. Choi Jin Young serving as an external associate professor at Severance Hospital.

Our clinic has published 65 SCI papers (on Smile, ICL, presbyopia, cataract, etc.) and holds patents for ophthalmic technology tools. We are members of the American-European Cataract and Refractive Surgery Association, the Korean Ophthalmological Society, and the Korean Cataract and Refractive Surgery Association.
