Clinic Introduction
Do you feel this way before orthodontic treatment? 'Where should I go?', 'Is my choice right?', 'Is everything going well now?', 'Will I get the look I want?' Half excitement, half worry. We understand this complex feeling. Orthodontic treatment is a special experience that most people have only once in their lifetime. It's natural to want to be careful, to understand, and to make a decision without any regrets. In response to this feeling, our director even wrote a book called 'A Special Story of Orthodontic Treatment'. This book contains the stories and information that we couldn't share in the clinic, and things that you should know before starting treatment. Throughout writing the manuscript, the director thought about the many questions that patients asked after leaving the clinic. We wanted to answer these questions properly. This detailed explanation is also a result of this feeling. @ In the clinic, memorable moments When a patient came to see us after completing treatment, they said, 'Yesterday, I met my friends for the first time in a long time, and they all asked if I had lost weight. They said I looked different.' I remember the smile as they told me that one sentence. The small change in one tooth can change the overall impression of a person and make their daily life a little brighter. That's what orthodontic treatment is all about. I laughed to myself for a long time after that day. Another time, a patient who was in the middle of treatment asked cautiously, 'I'm not sure if everything is going well.' That phrase stuck with me for a long time. Not just the result, but how much the patient was at ease during the process is just as important. Since then, I've explained things more thoroughly and slowly during mid-treatment check-ups. Even now, that phrase is a standard for me to review my treatment approach. During the long orthodontic treatment period, there may be times when you feel anxious and tired. In those moments, a single phrase 'You're doing great' can be a huge source of comfort. That's why I never hesitate to say it.
