Recently, the clinic has expanded and relocated to a new building near Apgujeong Station in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. This is all thanks to the support of our valued patients. We will strive to provide better care in a more comfortable environment.

Q. Where did you graduate from?
A. I graduated from New York University College of Dentistry (summa cum laude) and completed my prosthodontics residency at Harvard School of Dental Medicine.

Q. How long have you been practicing?
A. I established my dental clinic, Sungmichi Dental Clinic, in Apgujeong in 2004. As a 22-year experienced dentist, I have been treating patients and providing them with the best care possible.

Q. What kind of treatments do you offer?
A. Our main focus is on dental implants and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) treatment, including splints and Botox. In fact, we also offer orthodontic treatment, cavity treatment, and wisdom tooth extraction. I have been providing comprehensive care to all my patients for the past 22 years.

As a primary care dentist, I have designed long-term dental treatment plans for my patients and have accumulated experience in doing so. You can find many case examples related to the treatments we offer on our dental clinic blog and YouTube channel.

Q. How do you treat your patients?
My philosophy is that a dental clinic should not be a place of fear. Therefore, I strive to minimize pain and discomfort as much as possible. I use a combination of proper anesthesia and pain management, as well as the "PRF method" (Platelet-rich fibrin), which involves drawing a patient's blood, spinning it in a centrifuge, and then injecting it back into the patient to promote faster recovery and minimize pain.

Q. Is there anything else you would like to add?
A. Before starting treatment, I often spend a lot of time consulting with patients to explain the treatment plan, what to expect, and why it is necessary. I also want to answer any questions patients may have about the treatment. This way, patients can avoid misunderstandings during the treatment process and feel satisfied with the outcome. (I want to emphasize that our clinic is truly committed to providing the best care possible.)
