Yuseongsun Hospital

Yuseong Sun Hospital was established in July 2007 as a 100-bed comprehensive hospital in Jijok-dong, Yuseong-gu, Daejeon. In March 2008, the departments of neurology and otolaryngology were added, and in April of the same year, the gastrointestinal center was opened and adult cancer screening was conducted. In January 2009, the hospital was expanded to 183 beds, and in June of the same year, the department of rehabilitation medicine was added. In September of the same year, the hospital was designated as a hub hospital for the new influenza, and it broke the daily outpatient treatment record of 700 patients. In March 2010, the hospital was upgraded to a regional emergency medical institution in Daejeon Yuseong-gu, and in June of the same year, a separate building for the dental department was added and expanded. In July 2010, the hospital received the highest rating (A) in six fields from the Ministry of Health and Welfare's medical institution evaluation. Currently, the hospital has been selected as a comprehensive secondary hospital designated by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, and it operates a regional emergency medical center where 24-hour emergency specialist treatment is possible.
