Founded in 1977 with the ideology of 'a hospital owned by the people,' Seongdong-gu Clinic is the first private hospital in South Korea to successfully perform brain surgery. Following the will of Dr. Yoo Tae-jeon, the first hospital director who pioneered the first successful brain surgery, Seongdong-gu Clinic is currently operated as a non-profit organization under the Inbong Medical Foundation. Since its founding, the clinic has consistently developed with the goal of improving the health of patients and the local community.
