Clinic Introduction
Hello, I am Dr. Kim Yong, the representative director of Seoul USC Dental Clinic. Orthodontic treatment typically takes anywhere from 3-4 months to 2-3 years, and it is essential to work closely with a dentist throughout the process. When choosing an orthodontic clinic, the skill of the orthodontist is, of course, crucial, but it is equally important to consider how much attention and care the orthodontist shows towards each patient. It's not just about the treatment; we have conversations about various things when you visit us. In fact, three of my former patients who were students decided to pursue a career in orthodontics after their treatment with me. As an orthodontist, it was a proud moment for me. Looking back, I realize that becoming an orthodontist required a lot of patience and perseverance. With the help of many professors, I was able to complete my orthodontic residency program at Saint Louis University, a renowned institution in orthodontics in the United States. I believe that the best orthodontic treatment is one that achieves a beautiful smile without the need for treatment. If you don't currently need orthodontic treatment, I won't recommend it. Over the years, I have been actively treating Invisalign cases, which were initially met with skepticism in Korea, but I have been doing so for over a decade now. As a result, our clinic recorded the 10th highest number of Invisalign cases in the country in 2017, and I continue to lecture on the subject both domestically and internationally. We use 3D scanners to simulate and accurately diagnose each patient's condition and establish a treatment plan. Although it may take some time, we carefully check the alignment of each tooth. We also maintain a high standard of disinfection for our equipment, comparable to that of a university hospital in the United States. Please don't hesitate to visit us for a consultation if you have any concerns about the treatment process. Thank you.
