Chungbuk National University Hospital is a 250-bed hospital that was established in 1991 with the aim of contributing to the health and well-being of local residents and, further, to the improvement of public health. Through relentless efforts to develop education and clinical research, improve the quality of medical education, and enhance the quality of treatment and stimulate research enthusiasm, the hospital has continued to evolve and has established itself as the sole tertiary care institution within Chungbuk Province as of 2021. Currently, it handles an average of over 4,000 outpatients and over 1,000 inpatients per day.
